Our sugarcane products are an excellent choice for the environmentally conscious wanting to make a difference. During sugarcane processing the juice is extracted to make sugar and what remains is raw fibre called bagasse. The bagasse fibre that is traditionally discarded or burned is used to make our products.
Not only are these products made from recovered and abundant waste fibre, but they are 100% biodegradable and compostable.
Note that composting is required for biodegradation. Our sugarcane products will biodegrade in 30 days or less in a commercial composting facility and approximately 90 days or less in a home composting system.
Sugarcane items are an excellent alternative to plastic, foam and paper. These items are strong, durable and work well for most all foods, hot or cold.
